(槟城10日讯)4名中国籍男女涉嫌绑架一名72岁新加坡籍男子,并向其家属索取100万新加坡元(约330万令吉)赎金,周四(10日)在槟城浮罗山背地庭面控。4名被告面对绑架罪名时均否认有罪,法庭最终拒绝他们的保释申请。

4名被告分别为46岁的刘廷军、39岁的黄健、32岁的王浩宇及24岁的关思琪。他们在通译员以华语宣读控状后,向法官阿扎尔·法里兹·阿末凯鲁丁表示明白控状,并全部不认罪。

根据控状,4名被告被指于7月26日下午约4时15分,在槟城国际机场(Bayan Lepas)共谋绑架及非法禁锢一名72岁的新加坡籍男子。

4人面对1961年绑架法令第3(1)条文,并与刑事法典第34条文一同解读的控罪。若罪成,可面对30年至40年监禁及鞭笞。

控方由副检察司伊克马尔·阿菲迪·祖基菲里主控,并以案件涉及严重罪行及公共利益为由,要求法庭拒绝4名被告的保释申请。控方同时指出,被告的护照资料仍在等待移民局进一步核实。

代表首名被告刘廷军的律师Edward Ng在庭上申请保释时表示,其当事人在遭警方扣留期间一直配合调查,并有一名在马来西亚居住及工作的远亲愿意担任保释人。他也向法庭说明,该名亲属已与马来西亚公民结婚,并能够为被告提供担保。

代表另外3名被告的律师阿兹祖则表示,辩方了解所面对的绑架罪名严重,但希望法庭考虑被告的个人情况及其没有犯罪前科,并酌情批准保释。

辩方提出,若获准保释,被告愿意交出护照由法庭扣留、定期前往警局报到,并遵守法庭所规定的任何附加条件,包括不接触受害者及控方证人。

不过,法庭在听取控辩双方的陈词后,最终拒绝4名被告的保释申请,4人因此不得保释外出。案件择定于2026年10月15日过堂,以进行文件提呈。

这起案件与警方早前展开的一项绑架案调查有关。根据较早前报道,武吉阿曼警方于8月6日接获相关投报,指一名男子疑遭绑架。警方翌日晚上前往吉打州亚罗士打一间住宅展开突击及拯救行动。

警方抵达现场并表明身份准备进入屋内时,屋内疑似涉案人士据报开枪反抗,警方随后与对方发生枪战。行动中,两名外籍嫌犯遭警方击毙。

警方随后在屋内救出一名新加坡籍男子及一名中国籍女子。据报道,新加坡男子当时双眼被蒙住,双脚也被铁链锁住。

较早前的调查资料显示,该名新加坡男子于7月26日抵达槟城国际机场后与家人失去联系。到了8月4日,其姐姐收到语音讯息,获悉男子疑遭绑架及禁锢,并被要求支付100万新加坡元赎金。

受害者家属随后也收到一段据报显示男子被控制的视频。有关家属在与绑匪谈判期间,据报道已支付1万5000新加坡元(约4万9500令吉)。

警方的后续调查导致多人被扣留协助调查,而目前4名中国籍嫌犯已正式面对绑架罪控。
